K-12 Mini Conference

This year’s K-12 interest section mini-conference will be held in conjunction with a consortium hosted at Brigham Young University with plenary speakers Lily Wong-Filmore and David and Yvonne Freeman. We invite all interested individuals from any interest section–but especially K-12 interest section members, to attend. Please read on for more details and registration information. I strongly encourage you to consider attending this great event.

Program: The Thursday program is designed to present teaching ideas and demonstrations (See Attachment called “TRESOL Celebration”). The Friday program is to discuss current research information on a variety of topics relating to English Language Learners (See attached program called “English Language Learners and the Utah Community: Are we ready for the challenges and opportunities of today’s cultural and language landscapes? ESL Symposium Elements/ Sessions”)
